What's New
From February 2008 to March 2008, an evaluation was conducted with past and current Always Changing program users as well as a health education expert program review including key stakeholders across Canada.
Based on your feedback, new and improved resources have been developed including:
- Updated design, layout, and resource lists for the Teacher's Guide and the Student Guide
- Supplemental activities for students, enhanced evaluation strategies for teachers to assess student learningas well as a parent's permission letter in support of the Always Changing program (can be downloaded from the Resources and Materials page)
Over the next year, Ophea, PHE Canada, and Procter & Gamble will continueto address the feedback received from the review and as a result, additional development and enhancement of the Always Changing will occur.
Here is what users had to say about the Always Changing program:
"Thank you for a very valuable resource to support the curriculum. Free resources are always welcomed to many teachers since we have a limited classroom budget."
"This is a hard topic for an educator to teach. The program certainly helped!"
"I have been using the program for more than ten years, and I find it extremely useful and the students really like the samples."
"I've shared this resource with other colleagues for many years and each one is always very thankful for me introducing it to them. It can be an intimidating topic for some teachers to teach and this resource makes it easy."
"I think the program is amazing and would recommend it to anyone."
