The Ophea Curriculum and School Based Health Resource Centre

 

Ophea manages the Ophea Curriculum and School-Based Health Resource Centre. The Resource Centre is funded by the Ministry of Children and Youth Services as part of the Ontario Health Promotion Resource System.

The work of the Resource Centre is focused on the following key areas:

  • to support the effective implementation of the Health and Physical Education Curriculum across Ontario
  • to support the development and implementation of curriculum and school-based progamming in various risk factor areas

A primary role of the Resource Centre is to provide leadership in coordinating key stakeholders in the delivery of effective curriculum and school-based programming with respect to a wide spectrum of health promotion issues.
