H&PE Curriculum Support English School Board User Survey

Ü    All English School Boards within Ontario.

Findings:

Surveys were disseminated to all 60 English School Boards during the time period of February 2005 – March 2005. Below is a sampling of the highlights from the detailed analysis of the H&PE Curriculum Support English School Board Survey.

Ü    The majority of respondents stated that community partnerships and teacher workshops are the main supports that they receive from their boards

Ü    87% of respondents stated that their school board considers the H&PE Binders as the core resource for H&PE.

Ü    “Ophea has been most helpful. The Ophea association is exemplary in its support.”

Ü    “School boards need to be encouraged to have full time H&PE contacts and consultants to promote the work done by Ophea!”
