Lungs Are For Life Workshops
Through the support of The Lung Association and Ophea, free Lungs Are For Life workshops, conducted by Lungs Are For Life Master Trainers, are available to schools across Ontario.
At teacher training sessions, offered by Lungs Are For Life Master Trainers, educators can expect to learn everything they need to successfully implement Lungs Are For Life in their classrooms. Lungs Are For Life Master Trainers are focused on:

Helping communities and schools address smoking prevention and respiratory health through the Lungs Are For Life program that has been developed for Ontario teachers and students from Kindergarten to grade 12.

Advocate and enhance health promotion practices with relation to addressing the needs of students and teachers to learn and understand smoking prevention and respiratory health.

Developing and disseminating appropriate resources to assist educators, parents and community partners to help young people make healthy lifestyle decisions.

Assist educators to meet expectations in the Ontario Curriculum.

Become Involved with the Lungs Are For Life Master Trainer Program
Master Trainers are eligible to receive additional support from The Lung Association and Ophea including: handouts, curriculum connection fact sheets, PowerPoint presentations, quarterly newsletters and more to support teacher training on the Lungs Are For Life program.
