Why do we evaluate WalkThis Way?

Evaluation allows us to measure and track our performance over time and provides us with feedback that we can use to improve the quality of our programs on an on-going basis. Evaluating the delivery of Walk this Way will also allow us to ensure quality implementation at the local level, and will help determine the number of resources distributed to specific sectors.

Information collected through evaluation will be used to demonstrate all of the hard work that goes into Walk This Way and the contributions of our partners.

How do we evaluate WalkThis Way?

A tracking tool is provided in the Evaluation Toolkit to capture important information needed to create as complete a picture as possible of both the work that goes into promoting Walk this Way and tracking activities related to its implementation, successes and areas for improvement.

  • The Walk This Way Tracking Form is to be completed by the program distributor on an ongoing basis. You are able to track all kit requests, requests for support, kit distribution and promotional activities.

It is important for PARC to receive tracking forms from all WTW program leaders on an ongoing basis to ensure that PARC can continue to provide Walk This Way.
