  • Walk To School Day is October 8, 2003. Schools need to register their participation ahead of time. A large number of materials, in French & English, are available from http://www.greenestcity.org/indexasrts.html

  • The Terry Fox Run will take place September 14, 2003. Many schools and communities get involved in this event and it is a good opportunity to raise awareness of the benefits of physical activity in the context of cancer prevention.   • The Ophea Kid's Health Conference will be held October 16-18. The theme is: "Energizing communities: It's Your Move".
