Last week the Toronto Star published an update on a school they profiled in May 2011. Regency Acres Public School in Markham, Ontario was just wrapping up the school year, and one of the teachers there had implemented a program in a few classrooms to increase physical activity and measure the impact on learning.

Recently the Ontario government introduced legislation which would provide a strong anti-bullying message to children and youth across the province. This week, a group of individuals denounced this piece of legislation - claiming that it was a front for a means of indoctrinating children with a sexualized agenda - although they do believe that bullying must be stopped.
