Implementation of the revised Ontario Health and Physical Education (H&PE) Curriculum is mandatory in elementary schools beginning in September, and it is important that parents understand what their children will be learning about. The revised curriculum will include new ways of teaching and learning about all topics except human development and sexual health. Instruction for this topic will follow the 1998 curriculum until consultations have been completed.
