What: Take Action and Lungs Are For Life in-person Master Trainer Recruit session
When: November 5th and 6th, 2008
Where: Wyndham Garden Hotel - 185 Yorkland Boulevard, Toronto
Who: Available to Public Health Representatives and School Community Partners (i.e., public health nurses, health promoters, child and youth workers, police officers, etc.)
Cost: Registration for this session is free and overnight accommodation on November 5th and limited meals will be provided. A travel expense subsidy and additional accommodations may be provided to eligible individuals interested in attending this event
This training session will allow you to:

Gain a better understanding of Ophea’s Lungs Are For Life and Take Action initiatives and their respective partnerships with The Lung Association and the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH)

Learn about and experience Ophea’s Take Action and Lungs Are For Life resources

Discover practical strategies on how to effectively promote and work with schools

Participate in networking opportunities to reflect and share successes and challenges working with the school community

Learn about the Master Trainer Program from a current Master Trainer

Receive additional training supports including all you need to run a successful in-service workshop
