Each year, the conference serves as a motivation to new teachers and seasoned veterans alike. Nottawasaga Inn, Alliston, Ontario will host the 2008 Ophea Kids' Health Conference from October 16-18, 2008.

Ophea Professional Learning Workshops presented by H&PE Master Trainers provide support to district school boards and health units.

H&PE Online Workshops

Ophea provides two online H&PE workshops:

• Building Blocks to a Quality H&PE Program, and
• Take a Walk through the Ophea H&PE Binders

Health Promotion Trainings

Take Action, Menu of Choices and Lungs are for Life Training Sessions:

Ophea's Take Action, Menu of Choices, and Lungs are for Life Master Trainers are dedicated health promoters trained by Ophea to support the areas of substance abuse prevention(Take Action), healthy eating(Menu of Choices) and tobacco use prevention (Lungs are for Life). These trainings support a comprehensive school health approach and provide program implementation support to educators and other members of the school community. Trainings are free-of-charge.

PARC - Physical Activity Resource Centre

The Physical Activity Resource Centre (PARC) is a member of the Ontario Health Promotion Resource System (OHPRS). PARC provides support to physical activity promoters in public health across Ontario. PARC provides training, consultation, networking, referrals, and the dissemination of resources and information.
