MenuofChoices.ca is no longer accessible. To further integrate our support of the Healthy Schools approach and better serve educators, schools, public health promoters and community leaders, relevant information from the Menu of Choices website will be incorporated onto the Ophea website.
This page will provide an interim location for material and links including:
The Healthy Schools & Communities section : Visit for relevant information, programs and resources linking healthy eating to the Healthy Schools approach.
Secondary healthy eating lesson plans and Family and Business Studies Supplement pdf documents: Can be downloaded free-of-charge, just add Menu of Choices to your cart and checkout. These lessons will be revised later this year, when the new Secondary Health and Physical Education curriculum is released, and then available through Ophea’s updated Secondary H&PE supports.
Elementary healthy eating lesson plans: Currently being revised to meet the new Elementary H&PE curriculum and will be available online to subscribing school boards this fall.
Online Community Directory: Visit to find healthy eating implementation support from local public health leaders.
Ophea’s Menu of Choices initiative was developed in collaboration with the Nutrition Resource Centre and has been managed by Ophea as part of Ophea’s Curriculum and School-Based Health Resource Centre (CSBHRC) through funding from the Government of Ontario.
