Active transportation refers to ‘human-powered’ transportation - whether walking, jogging, cycling, skateboarding, etc. This funding option would support projects that promote or engage students, staff, and members of the community to use active modes of transportation, such as walking or biking to school/work.

You may have an opportunity to address a school's specific need that other grants would not be able to offer support for, or these grants could provide the additional funding needed for specific health activities at your school.
