    Aviva Community Fund

    Region: National

    Funding: Up to $100,000

    Eligibility/Funding Criteria:

    • Think of an idea that will have a positive impact in your community
    • Enter it in the Aviva Community Fund competition
    • Get everyone you know to vote for it

    Build-a-Bear Foundation

    Region: National

    Funding: Between $5,000 & $20,000

    Eligibility/Funding Criteria:

    • The Build-A-Bear Foundation is dedicated to adding a little more heart to life by inspiring kids to be Helpful, Empowered, Accepting, Respectful and Team players.
    • Recipient organization must be a tax-exempt, non-profit organization as defined by IRS Code 501(c)(3) or a registered charity in Canada and the United Kingdom.
    • Recipient organization must serve an area within 50 miles of a Build-A-Bear Workshop store. Funds must directly support programs that promote the Build-A-Bear Foundation mission

      Canada Post Community Foundation

      Region: National

      Funding:Funding from the Foundation will not exceed $25,000 per grant. The Canada Post Community Foundation will offer up to three Signature Grants of $50,000 each.

      Eligibility/Funding Criteria:

      • Mission to make a positive impact in the lives of children in the community
      • Projects consistent with the Foundation’s objective to provide support for initiatives that benefit children will be considered, see website for additional information

      Happy Hands Contest

      Region: National

      Funding: Up to $500

      Eligibility/Funding Criteria:

      • K-8 schools have the opportunity to educate students about the importance of hand washing and express their artistic sides through the creation of an original design for a Deb dispenser
      • Register your school, submit your student designs, finalists are chosen and open voting to public starts February 1st, 2018, announcement of winners will be made on March 1st, 2018

      Ken Spencer Award

      • Looking for work that focuses on improving student engagement, and in particular, intellectual engagement

      • For students in Grades 7-12 with opinions and ideas about Ontario’s school system
