Happy Hands Contest

Region: National

Eligibility/Funding Criteria:

  • K-8 schools have the opportunity to educate students about the importance of hand washing and express their artistic sides through the creation of an original design for a Deb dispenser
  • Register your school, submit your student designs, finalists are chosen and open voting to public starts February 1st, 2018, announcement of winners will be made on March 1st, 2018

  • Provides grants and capacity building supports to community-based organizations and grassroots groups serving young people who face multiple barriers to economic and social well-being

Speak Up Project

Region: Provincial

Eligibility/Funding Criteria:

  • For students in Grades 7-12 with opinions and ideas about Ontario’s school system
  • Student-led projects that will improve the school community
  • All projects require the mentorship of a project facilitator and support of the school principal
