Build-a-Bear Foundation

Region: National

Funding: Between $5,000 & $50,000

Eligibility/Funding Criteria:

  • Recipient organization must be a tax-exempt, non-profit organization as defined by IRS Code 501(c)(3) or a registered charity in Canada and the United Kingdom.
  • Recipient organization must serve an area within 50 miles of a Build-A-Bear Workshop store. Funds must directly support programs that promote the Build-A-Bear Foundation missio
  • The Build-A-Bear Foundation is dedicated to adding a little more heart to life by inspiring kids to be Helpful, Empowered, Accepting, Respectful and Team players.

Community One Foundation Rainbow Grants

Region: Greater Toronto Area

Funding: Between $5,000 & $50,000

Eligibility/Funding Criteria:

  • Provides funding to foster new and innovative services and programs for the LGBTTIQQ2S community in the GTA, in the areas of health & social sciences, arts & culture, and research, education & advocacy

Parents Reaching Out Grants for Regional/Provincial Projects (Ministry of Education)

Region: Provincial

Funding: Up to $30,000

Eligibility/Funding Criteria:

  • Regional/provincial grants are available to parent organizations, school boards, non-profit organizations, volunteer-sector associations, or post-secondary institutions working in partnership with parents
  • Supports projects designed to enhance parent involvement on a regional or province-wide basis

  • Support opportunities for seniors to network and become better integrated into the social fabric of their communities

Shell Social Investment Grants

  • Shell provides funding for community projects and initiatives located near our facilities throughout Canada. They fund project which meet their social investment interests that have a positive impact the community.
